The FK Tuminy fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when FK Tuminy's Mārtiņs Racinss looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mārtiņs Racinss made a kick off. In the 51st minute Ivo Silapriede shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erkand Kita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tiranë's goalkeeper Erkand Kita, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Erkand Kita came out of the goal and Ivo Silapriede tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Andrievs Prikulis got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 4-1. 80 minutes into the match. After 82 minutes, Druvis Muhanbergs mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FK Tuminy and the Tiranë players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 82 played minutes FK Tuminy got a freekick which was hit by Druvis Muhanbergs. Dashnor Gjata kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Tiranë's Erkand Kita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mārtiņs Racinss in the 86th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andrievs Prikulis in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erkand Kita prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
