The throw-in from Dario Casero in the 78th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Nacional's Camilo Candido. 87 minutes into the game, Coronel Castro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Juaneizu Merida. Coronel Castro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Luis Täger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ranolfo Piedrahita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute, Joseph Gayoso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nacional fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. The Parque Europa FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
