An unexpectedly hard shot by Jardel Head in the 10th minute of play forced Quilmes's goalkeeper Adan Lartaun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adan Lartaun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jardel Head went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Jacobo Lauro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilles Eekhout was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. In the 19th minute Jared Wolfman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adan Lartaun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Jared Wolfman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucas Nataniel got free with Gilles Eekhout in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 42nd minute Jardel Head shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adan Lartaun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jardel Head to make the kick off. Adan Lartaun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jared Wolfman in the 52nd minute of play. With his leg Adan Lartaun managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when AC Milan's Jardel Head fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 54th minute, Jared Wolfman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Adan Lartaun. Adan Lartaun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Quilmes's Horacio Francis was substituted for 柳冰鹏. Quilmes's Braulio Barrionuevo was substituted for Jacobo Lauro. After some careless play in the Quilmes defense, Jardel Head kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adan Lartaun. The Quilmes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adan Lartaun should have stopped the shot. 85 minutes into the match, Quilmes's goal looked a bit too open when Furkan Vargın came free, but Adan Lartaun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Lucas Nataniel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Quilmes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-6. Braulio Barrionuevo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
