After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Kamel Tawfiq managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chester-le-Street FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kamel Tawfiq was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emrullah İncel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Atakan Bakır's late challenge caught a Chester-le-Street FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Atakan Bakır helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Chester-le-Street FC booed when Buca FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atakan Bakır didn't get a good kick on the ball. Salim Abdul Baqi was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 44th minute. Chester-le-Street FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Arda Göksel Ekincioğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Buca FK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Salim Abdul Baqi to strike the kick off in the second half. Abdul Majid Husam kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Buca FK's Gaffar Hattat got a free kick in the 58th minute. Atakan Bakır hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After 61 played minutes, Chester-le-Street FC's Isa Yasem shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Emrullah İncel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chester-le-Street FC reached it. Kamel Tawfiq sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th match minute, Buca FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Besim Tokel to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute, Arda Göksel Ekincioğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaffar Hattat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 73 minutes into the game, Zakour Abdul Hakam was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chester-le-Street FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Buca FK the free kick. Zakour Abdul Hakam hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Gaffar Hattat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilyas Fakhro having to interfere. After 81 played minutes Chester-le-Street FC got a freekick which was hit by Asad Muzzammil. In the 89th match minute, Buca FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Besim Tokel to maneuver through the defense. Emrullah İncel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kamel Tawfiq, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
