Edgar Stănoiu charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgar Stănoiu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 3rd match minute, Unicorns ™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Stănoiu to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petrică Ţirpescu in the 6th minute of play forced Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's goalkeeper Ion Chificeac to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Petrică Ţirpescu struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Ion Chificeac didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Unicorns ™. Isac Drâmba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sabin Panciu in the 14th minute of the match. Isac Drâmba was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Nechifor Cosoroabă capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nechifor Cosoroabă really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 22ndth minute of the game Tudor Bodea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Ion Chificeac was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nechifor Cosoroabă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isac Drâmba having to interfere. Isac Drâmba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sabin Panciu in the 28th minute of the match. Boro Doro succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 31st playminute. Ion Chificeac took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mugur Siniştean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nechifor Cosoroabă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Isac Drâmba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ion Chificeac came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Unicorns ™'s Petrică Ţirpescu. But to his dismay, Petrică Ţirpescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sabin Panciu to make the kick off. Ion Chificeac showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mugur Siniştean in the 68th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Unicorns ™'s Petrică Ţirpescu got a free kick in the 71st minute. 72 minutes into the game, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Sabin Panciu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isac Drâmba made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabin Panciu in the 78th minute of play forced Unicorns ™'s goalkeeper Isac Drâmba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabian Drâmbă kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. The supporters of Batalionul U23 Dorobanti booed when Unicorns ™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mugur Siniştean didn't get a good kick on the ball. Boro Doro struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Isac Drâmba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Batalionul U23 Dorobanti. In the 92nd minute Sabin Panciu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isac Drâmba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 93 minutes, Mugur Siniştean mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Unicorns ™ and the Batalionul U23 Dorobanti players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 93rd minute, Mugur Siniştean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96thth minute of the game Nechifor Cosoroabă who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Unicorns ™'s Isac Drâmba was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
