Gettrup SIK's Torben Drieø played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norman Haiba in the 5th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Loui Dyndgaard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Michael Hedström. AEK S.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Loui Dyndgaard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 16 minutes into the match, AEK S.C's goal looked a bit too open when Isak Krontoft came free, but Michael Hedström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Keld Popp who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Michael Hedström when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Michael Hedström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isak Krontoft, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Michael Hedström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Keld Popp in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isak Krontoft in the 25th minute of play forced AEK S.C's goalkeeper Michael Hedström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torben Drieø showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Buinton in the 26th minute of the match. A collision led to AEK S.C getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Petros Karterouliotis hit a great ball. In the 39th minute, Gettrup SIK's Isak Krontoft dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Arthur Stenhus kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Keld Popp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. AEK S.C were furious when Anastasios Lazos was red carded, 48 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kris Noander stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Joachim Kragstrup shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Hedström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute, Keld Popp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gettrup SIK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. 60 minutes into the game, Gettrup SIK's Kris Noander nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Michael Hedström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Keld Popp took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Michael Hedström. Michael Hedström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Gettrup SIK's Bastian Kreuzer was substituted for Alan Koefoed. Arthur Stenhus scored 8-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Michael Hedström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Michael Hedström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kris Noander in the 80th minute of play. In the 83rd minute Isak Krontoft shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Hedström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Torben Drieø made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petros Karterouliotis in the 85th minute of play. Gettrup SIK's Kim Enehøj was substituted for Loui Dyndgaard. In the 86th minute, Joachim Kragstrup hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, AEK S.C's Dimitris Kourmouzis got a free kick in the 88th minute. Gettrup SIK made a substitution. Lukas Oschlag replaced Isak Krontoft. AEK S.C's Michael Hedström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kim Enehøj in the 94th minute of play. Michael Hedström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lukas Oschlag, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Gettrup SIK getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Lukas Oschlag hit a great ball. Gettrup SIK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
