After a defensive mix-up in Tierras altas AFC's zone, Pascual Mouricio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonio Natal came out of the goal and Pascual Mouricio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arana Ponta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Antonio Natal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antonio Natal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabrício Lustosa in the 38th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Fabrício Lustosa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Academia Monte Gordo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 46th match minute, Academia Monte Gordo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arana Ponta to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fryderyk Grucza to make the kick off. Academia Monte Gordo's Mao Zhen Hong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Armando Maradona in the 55th minute of play. Tierras altas AFC's Temel Lütufkâr was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mao Zhen Hong in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Pascual Mouricio came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Academia Monte Gordo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pascual Mouricio couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fryderyk Grucza in the 61st minute of play forced Tierras altas AFC's goalkeeper Antonio Natal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fryderyk Grucza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Antonio Natal made a huge save. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 64th minute of the game. One of Tierras altas AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Academia Monte Gordo:s goal. When the match had been going on for 67 minutes, Academia Monte Gordo's Boruc Brysz got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Antonio Natal. Fryderyk Grucza scored 0-5 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Antonio Natal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pascual Mouricio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Natal having to interfere. Victor Pepillo made in the 78th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Academia Monte Gordo's Arana Ponta. In the 79th minute, Fryderyk Grucza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antonio Natal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Mao Zhen Hong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedicto Neron in the 82nd minute of play. Mao Zhen Hong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedicto Neron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boruc Brysz charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Boruc Brysz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Tierras altas AFC booed when Academia Monte Gordo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boruc Brysz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tierras altas AFC's Antonio Natal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Tierras altas AFC from getting a goal against them. 89 minutes into the match, Fryderyk Grucza notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Tierras altas AFC's Antonio Natal. Antonio Natal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 93 minutes Tierras altas AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Adolfo Silva who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Adolfo Silva got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Antonio Natal quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Benedicto Neron charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benedicto Neron the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Benedicto Neron hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Academia Monte Gordo left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tierras altas AFC.
