Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) FC Nereta's Ilie Slătineanu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. FC Nereta's Muammer Taşcıoğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Nereta from getting a goal against them. The throw-in from Jan Rein Karremans in the 4th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Nereta's Santos Cerilo. Jaap van der Schans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilie Slătineanu in the 5th minute of the match. Muammer Taşcıoğlu was a little too slow when Valio Tammisto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 1-0. 9 minutes into the match, Westenenk's Wieslaw Posadzki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Muammer Taşcıoğlu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Muammer Taşcıoğlu made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Wieslaw Posadzki sent off a good shot on target. FC Nereta's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Donovan Kepert in the 14th minute. In the 20th minute FC Nereta were awarded a corner. Donovan Kepert went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Westenenk's goalie and right to Pavel Tankovich. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Westenenk's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 32nd minute Ilie Slătineanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaap van der Schans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaap van der Schans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rune Kapstad, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The audience was convinced that Valio Tammisto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Muammer Taşcıoğlu was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Muammer Taşcıoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valio Tammisto in the 40th minute of the match. The supporters of Westenenk booed when FC Nereta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aivils Burss didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wieslaw Posadzki's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 48thth minute, Muammer Taşcıoğlu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Aivils Burss hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. When Westenenk's Wieslaw Posadzki in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Nereta's goalie prevented a goal. FC Nereta's Muammer Taşcıoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valio Tammisto in the 56th minute of play. After 56 played minutes FC Nereta got a freekick which was hit by Pavel Tankovich. After 61 played minutes FC Nereta got a freekick which was hit by Rune Kapstad. Muammer Taşcıoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wieslaw Posadzki in the 64th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Westenenk's Eddy van den Eede got a free kick in the 65th minute. FC Nereta's Muammer Taşcıoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valio Tammisto in the 69th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ilie Slătineanu got free with Jaap van der Schans in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 74th minute, Aivils Burss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 75 played minutes FC Nereta got a freekick which was hit by Rune Kapstad. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wieslaw Posadzki in the 81st minute of play forced FC Nereta's goalkeeper Muammer Taşcıoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Muammer Taşcıoğlu came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Westenenk's Wieslaw Posadzki. But to his dismay, Wieslaw Posadzki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Muammer Taşcıoğlu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wieslaw Posadzki's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. In the 92nd minute Valio Tammisto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Muammer Taşcıoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th match minute, FC Nereta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernests Ķirsīts to maneuver through the defense. Westenenk's Eddy van den Eede couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 95th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Nereta. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Westenenk fully deserved thier win.
