In the 6th minute of the match COSQUIN SFC got a corner. Gonzo Style f.c's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Iker Unax ran over to the corner to take the kick. 9 minutes into the match, Emanuele Bertoni notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of COSQUIN SFC's Bayezit Tecik. Bayezit Tecik was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 18th minute Lucas Beltrán shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Savenije saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrico Tassotti in the 27th minute of play forced COSQUIN SFC's goalkeeper Bayezit Tecik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucas Savenije made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everardo Abella in the 32nd minute of play. Enrico Tassotti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Enrico Tassotti to make the kick off. With a little luck, Gonzo Style f.c's Lucas Savenije got control of the ball when Lucas Beltrán tried to sneak it across the goal line. COSQUIN SFC's Luis Rumaldo got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luis Rumaldo got free with Lucas Savenije in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lucas Savenije took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Rumaldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th match minute, Gonzo Style f.c was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Biagio Baciadonne to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 68 minutes, Lucas Beltrán managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. COSQUIN SFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Beltrán was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ennio Fino hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Gonzo Style f.c's goalkeeper Lucas Savenije, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 72nd minute, COSQUIN SFC's Lucas Beltrán ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lucas Savenije. Lucas Savenije yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Flavio De Matteis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gonzo Style f.c's goalkeeper Lucas Savenije, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bayezit Tecik didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emanuele Bertoni went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Emanuele Bertoni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bayezit Tecik having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Enrico Tassotti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gonzo Style f.c's Lucas Savenije proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Gonzo Style f.c from getting a goal against them. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
