The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Everardo Abella in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Donato Lorenz saved Granate from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Granate's zone, Well-Well Chițan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donato Lorenz came out of the goal and Well-Well Chițan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Donato Lorenz made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Well-Well Chițan sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christos Triantafyllou in the 26th minute of play forced COSQUIN SFC's goalkeeper Ciriaco Olivar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Everardo Abella got free with Donato Lorenz in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 34 minutes, Syaiful Abidin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Granate and the COSQUIN SFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 37th minute Christos Triantafyllou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Olivar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucas Beltrán got free with Donato Lorenz in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 44 minutes into the match, Granate's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Beltrán came free, but Donato Lorenz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, Lucas Beltrán was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. After 73 played minutes COSQUIN SFC got a freekick which was hit by Fabricio Angileri. After 77 played minutes Granate got a freekick which was hit by Celestino Bernal. Donato Lorenz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicanor Piorno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When COSQUIN SFC's Nicanor Piorno in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
