Gilles Clerc could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Eugenio Colecchia made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Daniele Massaro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sepp Mainville was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Sepp Mainville stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniele Massaro's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Sepp Mainville made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniele Massaro in the 19th minute of play. Sepp Mainville showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godo Møltoft in the 20th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilles Clerc got free with Eugenio Colecchia in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 37th minute Daniele Massaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sepp Mainville saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Daniele Massaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sepp Mainville stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniele Massaro's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Daniele Massaro sped through Zelg FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sepp Mainville. Sepp Mainville showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniele Massaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Zelg FC's Jonas Herz quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Cesare Del Duca, made in the 45th minute of the game.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonas Herz was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Zelg FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniele Massaro came free, but Sepp Mainville reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniele Massaro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sepp Mainville firmly grabbed it by the left post. Seggiano's Yuan Zhou Lei was substituted for Cesare Del Duca. Seggiano's Alfred Klawki was substituted for Daniele Massaro. Eugenio Colecchia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonas Herz's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Alfred Klawki took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sepp Mainville. Sepp Mainville dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Eugenio Colecchia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Irwin Monney in the 76th minute of play. The supporters of Seggiano booed when Zelg FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Herz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sepp Mainville made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Alfred Klawki sent off a good shot on target. 82 minutes into the match, Seggiano's goal looked a bit too open when Gilles Clerc came free, but Eugenio Colecchia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfred Klawki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sepp Mainville having to make a save. Seggiano's Cosimo Franceschini quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Serge Tomasini, made in the 85th minute of the game. With his leg Sepp Mainville managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Seggiano's Alfred Klawki fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 92 minutes of play, Zelg FC's Jonas Herz made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eugenio Colecchia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zelg FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Seggiano for a fine match.
