After having played for 3 minutes, Dinei Fernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Merceron United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dinei Fernandez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniele Bucciarelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bob Marley in the 6th minute of play. Edoardo Pascucci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bob Marley in the 18th minute of play forced Merceron United's goalkeeper Daniele Bucciarelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 minutes Merceron United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Stig-Åke Vacker who took care of the corner kick. Anfilogino Palma made a great header on Dexter Morgan VR46's corner, it was just that Merceron United's Daniele Bucciarelli managed to reach the ball for a save. Daniele Bucciarelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bob Marley, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Dinei Fernandez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Comunardo Guerrini made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baldomiro Nardo in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniele Bucciarelli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Daniele Bucciarelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bob Marley in the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anfilogino Palma in the 35th minute of play forced Merceron United's goalkeeper Daniele Bucciarelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Comunardo Guerrini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edoardo Pascucci in the 38th minute of the match. Dexter Morgan VR46's Bob Marley got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bob Marley in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniele Bucciarelli saved Merceron United from getting behind. Comunardo Guerrini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinei Fernandez in the 44th minute of play. Daniele Bucciarelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bob Marley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dinei Fernandez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Baldomiro Nardo in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Daniele Bucciarelli, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 55th minute Edoardo Pascucci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Comunardo Guerrini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 57 played minutes Merceron United got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Catapano. The supporters of Dexter Morgan VR46 booed when Merceron United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthony Catapano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Merceron United's goalkeeper Daniele Bucciarelli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baldomiro Nardo. Dexter Morgan VR46's Brecht Ablij managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Anthony Catapano in the 69 minute of the game. In the 74thth minute of the game Bob Marley who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Merceron United's Daniele Bucciarelli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dexter Morgan VR46's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Stig-Åke Vacker in the 76th minute. It was a well-played corner which Bennvar Björkänge managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Edoardo Pascucci scored 1-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Comunardo Guerrini, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 82nd play minutes Bob Marley shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Daniele Bucciarelli and just under the crossbar into goal. Daniele Bucciarelli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baldomiro Nardo in the 87th minute. 93 minutes into the match, Dexter Morgan VR46's Bob Marley sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniele Bucciarelli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 94th minute of the match, Baldomiro Nardo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Daniele Bucciarelli was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Bob Marley took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniele Bucciarelli. Daniele Bucciarelli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Dexter Morgan VR46 walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
