An unexpectedly hard shot by Dave De Bartolo in the 10th minute of play forced Calenzano's goalkeeper Donato Balestra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Calenzano's zone, Dave De Bartolo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donato Balestra came out of the goal and Dave De Bartolo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Yaniusky Pardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arturo Di Matteo might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fortunato Montini. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arturo Di Matteo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 36th minute Arturo Di Matteo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fortunato Montini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arturo Di Matteo made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Dave De Bartolo made a precise shot to the right of Donato Balestra. Calenzano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Calenzano's Ennio Daniele was substituted for Alessio Santini. Calenzano's Alessandro Giocondo was substituted for Yaniusky Pardo. GG Team FC's Dennis Man was substituted for Dave De Bartolo. The throw-in from Bianco Zarillo in the 66th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Calenzano's Antonello Di Toma. Dennis Man blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Donato Balestra having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in GG Team FC's zone, Pierrot Leenpoels stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fortunato Montini came out of the goal and Pierrot Leenpoels tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. GG Team FC's Hassan Marcou was substituted for Bernardo Scandella. Donato Balestra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dennis Man, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. The supporters of GG Team FC booed when Calenzano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonello Di Toma didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amedeo Alfani hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. GG Team FC's Stefan Cârstea was substituted for Amedeo Alfani. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pierrot Leenpoels in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fortunato Montini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antonello Di Toma during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 89th minute, Antonello Di Toma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of GG Team FC booed when Calenzano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enzo Martelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was beautiful to see GG Team FC's Maciej Kaznocha in action when he in the 92nd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! When the final whistle sounded GG Team FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Calenzano.
