The crowd rose to their feet as Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Juan Carlos Alvarez. That made the score 2-0 in the 9 minute of play. Cãlin Damaschin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yin Yang in the 12th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, CERRO PORTEÑO's goal looked a bit too open when Yin Yang came free, but Cãlin Damaschin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Cilio in the 22nd minute of play forced CERRO PORTEÑO's goalkeeper Cãlin Damaschin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marlin FC's Juan Carlos Alvarez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Marlin FC from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Carlos Alvarez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 28 minutes in the game Roberto Calixto did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Boleslaw Gecionis. 30 minutes into the match, Marlin FC's goalkeeper Juan Carlos Alvarez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis. The referee felt a red card was in order, 32 minutes into the game, when Simon Gerbault put in a rough tackle. In the 48th minute Yin Yang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cãlin Damaschin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The wind increased when Yin Yang made the kick off in the second half. Vermudo Capetillo kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Teobaldo Cilio kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. When Edgar Kensicki came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the CERRO PORTEÑO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgar Kensicki couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in CERRO PORTEÑO's zone, Yin Yang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cãlin Damaschin came out of the goal and Yin Yang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teobaldo Cilio during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 68th minute, Teobaldo Cilio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan Carlos Alvarez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 任棋振, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Juan Carlos Alvarez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Kensicki in the 80th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Ciano in the 83rd minute of play forced CERRO PORTEÑO's goalkeeper Cãlin Damaschin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Boleslaw Gecionis in the 86th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by CERRO PORTEÑO's Edgar Kensicki. Teobaldo Cilio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Cãlin Damaschin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
