RIVER's Gaston Oskarbi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Borys Majorski in the 13th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Uriel Txordon dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Michal Szostak, 2-1. 21 minutes into the match, 1909 Tarnovia's goalkeeper Michal Szostak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hernan Kelemen. RIVER's Gaston Oskarbi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grzegorz Barniszke in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, 1909 Tarnovia's goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Kelemen came free, but Michal Szostak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michal Szostak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernan Kelemen in the 24th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Medina Bello in the 37th minute of play forced 1909 Tarnovia's goalkeeper Michal Szostak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michal Szostak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Medina Bello in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

RIVER's Gaston Oskarbi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save RIVER from getting a goal against them. In the 52nd minute, Uriel Txordon made a precise shot to the right of Michal Szostak. 1909 Tarnovia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Michal Szostak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascual Austin in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandru Căliman in the 58th minute of play forced RIVER's goalkeeper Gaston Oskarbi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to RIVER getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Hernan Kelemen hit a great ball. In the 86th match minute, RIVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hilario Avellaneda to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the match, RIVER's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandru Căliman came free, but Gaston Oskarbi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 96 played minutes, RIVER's Isaac Nuxila shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Michal Szostak came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in RIVER reached it. RIVER were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
