Haymakers FC's Stig Brask played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafin Santxol in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jaime Beti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Stig Brask acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 51st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Serafino Kauldi. When Hernan Ixona fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CERVEZA CALIENTE's protests and gave Hernan Ixona a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd minute, Hernan Ixona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Haymakers FC's Bo-Erik Sjöö got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 57th minute, Roger Broman made a precise shot to the right of Gonzalo Endira. CERVEZA CALIENTE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Stig Brask made an important save on a dangerous shot by Serafin Santxol in the 60th minute. The CERVEZA CALIENTE fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when CERVEZA CALIENTE's Nereo Mingo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. CERVEZA CALIENTE's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
