Teodor Şteţ made in the 17th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Vlad Agusoaei. In the 20th minute, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Anton Otețea fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Jock Tare's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Flavio Peter skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 25th minute Jock Tare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Peter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Jock Tare came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the -BZF- Barca de Buzau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jock Tare couldn't finish the play. Teodor Şteţ's late challenge caught a -BZF- Barca de Buzau's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodor Şteţ helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th match minute, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodor Şteţ to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Jock Tare could shoot a difficult shot in the 31st minute, which Flavio Peter however easily saved by the left post. In the 41st minute, Anton Otețea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Big Saver made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wagner Doro in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wagner Doro was the one to do the kick off. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Big Saver proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save -BZF- Barca de Buzau from getting a goal against them. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Flavio Peter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jock Tare in the 56th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's goal looked a bit too open when Jock Tare came free, but Flavio Peter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavio Peter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jock Tare, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Quique Doro's late challenge caught a -BZF- Barca de Buzau's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Quique Doro helped the player get up and apologised. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Flavio Peter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darius Olaru in the 69th minute of play. Jock Tare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Anton Otețea got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 81st minute Wagner Doro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Big Saver saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 85 played minutes Batalionul U23 Dorobanti got a freekick which was hit by Teodor Şteţ. 88 minutes into the game, Basarab Achimescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Batalionul U23 Dorobanti the free kick. Basarab Achimescu kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The supporters of Batalionul U23 Dorobanti booed when -BZF- Barca de Buzau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maxim Lupașcu didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Batalionul U23 Dorobanti players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
