With a little luck, Armada's Sergiu Rădescu got control of the ball when Laurențiu Todericiu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marian Panaitescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laurențiu Todericiu kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After having played for 16 minutes, Alexandru Pintilie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Armada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandru Pintilie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alexandru Pintilie hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Sergiu Rădescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Atanasiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 23rd match minute, AFC Nirosxn 08 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doru Şelaru to maneuver through the defense. Octavian Cristian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mugurel Slătineanu having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Armada's goalkeeper Sergiu Rădescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ionică Savu. In the 39th minute Emil Atanasiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergiu Rădescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Armada's Nistor Chifu got a free kick in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Atanasiu in the 46th minute of play forced Armada's goalkeeper Sergiu Rădescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sergiu Rădescu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Emil Atanasiu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 47 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alexandru Pintilie stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sergiu Rădescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Atanasiu in the 72nd minute of the match. Laurențiu Todericiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute.
