Paredes Fortes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Quirze Acha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Brasil in the 8th minute of the match. Fredrik Sundström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paredes Fortes having to make a save. Paredes Fortes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredrik Sundström, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Fredrik Sundström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Paredes Fortes managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Team Figo's Fredrik Sundström fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 22 minutes into the match, AKI CORINTHIANS's goal looked a bit too open when Fredrik Sundström came free, but Paredes Fortes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AKI CORINTHIANS's Paredes Fortes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save AKI CORINTHIANS from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fredrik Sundström in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paredes Fortes saved AKI CORINTHIANS from getting behind. Paredes Fortes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredrik Sundström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 31 minutes, Ciro Brasil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AKI CORINTHIANS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciro Brasil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fredrik Sundström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Paredes Fortes made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fredrik Sundström got free with Paredes Fortes in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 33rd match minute, AKI CORINTHIANS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vânderson Castro to maneuver through the defense. After 36 minutes of play, AKI CORINTHIANS's Vânderson Castro made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Quirze Acha was left in no man's land by his defense there! Paredes Fortes was a little too slow when Fredrik Sundström got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 2-1. Seamus Mcgregor kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fredrik Sundström made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Team Figo's goalkeeper Quirze Acha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ciro Brasil. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Team Figo's goalie and right to Vânderson Castro. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Team Figo's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The supporters of Team Figo booed when AKI CORINTHIANS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vânderson Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albino Ibar kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. With a little luck, Team Figo's Quirze Acha got control of the ball when Ciro Brasil tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 58th minute, AKI CORINTHIANS's Ciro Brasil ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Quirze Acha. Quirze Acha yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. In the 68th match minute, AKI CORINTHIANS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vânderson Castro to maneuver through the defense. Vânderson Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, AKI CORINTHIANS's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Nejat Karasu came free, but Paredes Fortes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Mårten Bivall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusébio Negri in the 80th minute of play forced Team Figo's goalkeeper Quirze Acha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paredes Fortes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredrik Sundström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the game, Kenneth Stålberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Paredes Fortes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 88th minute Fredrik Sundström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paredes Fortes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AKI CORINTHIANS's Paredes Fortes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredrik Sundström in the 89th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Team Figo fans cheered their team off the field, for while AKI CORINTHIANS had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
