Flamengo CIMZ's Édouard Mendy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Fernandes in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Flamengo CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Beto Smith came free, but Édouard Mendy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Flamengo CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Krakaca Neto came free, but Édouard Mendy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfred Kiszkiel got free with João Carlos Andrade in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Édouard Mendy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krakaca Neto in the 12th minute of play. João Carlos Andrade was a little too slow when Niceto Frichoso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 1-0. Édouard Mendy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Krakaca Neto in the 18th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Krakaca Neto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Édouard Mendy was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Édouard Mendy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beto Smith, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. A collision led to Futuros FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Paolo Ferdinand hit a great ball. Beto Smith scored 2-1 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Édouard Mendy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 40th minute Paolo Ferdinand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Édouard Mendy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Édouard Mendy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Fernandes in the 42nd minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Flamengo CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Fernandes came free, but Édouard Mendy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute, Krakaca Neto made a precise shot to the right of Édouard Mendy. Flamengo CIMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Niceto Frichoso made a kick off. Marcos Fernandes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Édouard Mendy made a huge save. Édouard Mendy came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Futuros FC's Beto Smith. But to his dismay, Beto Smith quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Marcos Fernandes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Édouard Mendy made a huge save. Édouard Mendy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Krakaca Neto's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcos Fernandes got free with Édouard Mendy in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Krakaca Neto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Édouard Mendy was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Krakaca Neto struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Édouard Mendy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Futuros FC. Marcos Fernandes scored 2-4 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Édouard Mendy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 81st minute, Leopoldo Trigo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Carlos Andrade was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-4. Édouard Mendy made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Marcos Fernandes sent off a good shot on target. Futuros FC were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after Flamengo CIMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Paolo Ferdinand took the corner. Futuros FC's Paolo Ferdinand was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Édouard Mendy in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Futuros FC were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after Flamengo CIMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Paolo Ferdinand took the corner. Paolo Ferdinand made a great header on Futuros FC's corner, it was just that Flamengo CIMZ's Édouard Mendy managed to reach the ball for a save. Édouard Mendy made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Krakaca Neto sent off a good shot on target. Futuros FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Paolo Ferdinand in the 96th minute. The corner led Futuros FC's Paolo Ferdinand to fire away a dangerous shot which Édouard Mendy despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Futuros FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Futuros FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
