The attack was good, but when Patrick Middendorf in the 9th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ali Nejat Karasu in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Rotariu saved PoWer SC 2K5 from getting behind. The Team Figo fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when Team Figo's Mårten Bivall looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a little luck, Team Figo's Quirze Acha got control of the ball when Zvonimir Prestin tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 28th minute, Matthew Wagner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The coaching staff of PoWer SC 2K5 protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Matthew Wagner had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 47 played minutes PoWer SC 2K5 got a freekick which was hit by Matthew Wagner. In the 47th minute, Ronny Felin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Team Figo were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zvonimir Prestin made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zvonimir Prestin in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Quirze Acha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, PoWer SC 2K5's Patrick Middendorf got a free kick in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philip Byström in the 55th minute of play forced PoWer SC 2K5's goalkeeper David Rotariu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. PoWer SC 2K5's David Rotariu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save PoWer SC 2K5 from getting a goal against them. Quirze Acha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Middendorf in the 58th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zvonimir Prestin in the 64th minute of play forced Team Figo's goalkeeper Quirze Acha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Niklas Edström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Team Figo's supporters rose to their feet, but Niklas Edström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Rotariu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 70 minutes into the match, Philip Byström notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of PoWer SC 2K5's David Rotariu. David Rotariu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mårten Bivall might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over David Rotariu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mårten Bivall ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonas Klinsmann in the 75th managed to get into a good position. PoWer SC 2K5's David Rotariu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save PoWer SC 2K5 from getting a goal against them.
