David Dewulf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fermin Dolfo in the 13th minute of the match. Basri İhtiyar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prudencio Isias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Yalapa's goal looked a bit too open when Prudencio Isias came free, but Basri İhtiyar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Basri İhtiyar managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when The Waldos's Prudencio Isias fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some careless play in the The Waldos defense, Fermin Dolfo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Dewulf. The The Waldos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Dewulf should have stopped the shot.
