The throw-in from Michael Corleone in the 4th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by AFC FUSION's Dawid Beckham. 7 minutes into the game, Despidida AFC's Emiliano Velasco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roberto Eztebe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Roberto Eztebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Tino in the 12th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lino Rios in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Selatse saved Despidida AFC from getting behind. AFC FUSION's Dawid Beckham managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Justino Elequemedo in the 18 minute of the game. The supporters of AFC FUSION booed when Despidida AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dinu Ivănescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roberto Eztebe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pastor Tino, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 26 minutes into the game, Justino Elequemedo threw the ball into play from the sideline. AFC FUSION's Dawid Beckham quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Jonatan Maidana kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Justino Elequemedo made in the 29th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by AFC FUSION's Germano Bettencourt. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Rios in the 30th minute of play forced Despidida AFC's goalkeeper Fernando Selatse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goal looked a bit too open when Pastor Tino came free, but Roberto Eztebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lino Rios could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Fernando Selatse made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Velasco in the 36th minute of play forced AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AFC FUSION's Roberto Eztebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Velasco in the 40th minute of play. Emiliano Velasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Eztebe having to interfere. In the 46th minute Germano Bettencourt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 48th minute, Emiliano Velasco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Despidida AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emiliano Velasco to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Despidida AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Rios came free, but Fernando Selatse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roberto Eztebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinu Ivănescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, AFC FUSION's Jonatan Maidana got a free kick in the 66th minute. Despidida AFC made a substitution. Ancho Branca replaced Dinu Ivănescu. Lino Rios took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fernando Selatse. Fernando Selatse dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. AFC FUSION's Christoff Stocks was substituted for Guido Txindoki. 78 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goal looked a bit too open when Toro Martínez came free, but Roberto Eztebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, AFC FUSION's Germano Bettencourt got a free kick in the 79th minute. Fernando Selatse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Rios in the 82nd minute of play. Fernando Selatse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christoff Stocks, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Fernando Selatse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dawid Beckham in the 90th minute of the match. If Kajetan Gdowik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 97th play minutes Christoff Stocks shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Fernando Selatse and just under the crossbar into goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
