Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cuca Teixeira got the match started through his kick off. When Ogro F.C.'s Durvalino Abraão, in the 3rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Ogro F.C.. When Serginho Alagoano fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.A. Francana's protests and gave Serginho Alagoano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th match minute, A.A. Francana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serginho Alagoano to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Adolfo Leite in the 19th minute of play forced Ogro F.C.'s goalkeeper Edmundo Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cuca Teixeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 29 played minutes A.A. Francana got a freekick which was hit by Serginho Alagoano. After 30 minutes, Cuca Teixeira made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. A.A. Francana's Telmo Trigo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Cuca Teixeira came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Ogro F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cuca Teixeira couldn't finish the play. Telmo Trigo made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Cuca Teixeira sent off a good shot on target. 44 minutes into the match, Ogro F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Armandinho Vergílio came free, but Edmundo Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for João Adolfo Leite to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, A.A. Francana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Adolfo Leite to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th match minute, Ogro F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Durvalino Abraão to maneuver through the defense. Ogro F.C.'s Tico Torres got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, A.A. Francana's Evandro Mangueira got a free kick in the 62nd minute. The supporters of A.A. Francana booed when Ogro F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Durvalino Abraão didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cuca Teixeira in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Telmo Trigo saved A.A. Francana from getting behind. The supporters of A.A. Francana booed when Ogro F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Francisco Alagoano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Válbson Soeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cuca Teixeira in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Telmo Trigo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 72 minutes into the match, João Adolfo Leite dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Edmundo Guimarães, 1-1. Cuca Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Telmo Trigo having to interfere. In the 77th minute Cuca Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Telmo Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to A.A. Francana getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Válbson Soeiro hit a great ball. Cuca Teixeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in A.A. Francana's zone, Tico Torres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Telmo Trigo came out of the goal and Tico Torres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 96 minutes into the match, Ogro F.C.'s João Francisco Alagoano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Telmo Trigo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The A.A. Francana players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Ogro F.C. from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
