After a rather tough play, EDI MZB's Aníbal Velasco got a free kick in the 6th minute. Haroldo do Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Machado in the 10th minute of play. Tarcisio Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorginho Vargas in the 17th minute of play. Haroldo do Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evandro Maia, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago Machado in the 28th minute of play forced ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s goalkeeper Haroldo do Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. EDI MZB were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Evandro Maia took the corner. The corner ended in Evandro Maia almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s Haroldo do Valle did a great save. David Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Tarcisio Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inácio Zonta in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th match minute, ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinho Taffarel to maneuver through the defense. Haroldo do Valle made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Evandro Maia sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, EDI MZB's Edi Souza got a free kick in the 37th minute. The ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s Inácio Zonta looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Tiago Machado made the kick off in the second half. Tiago Machado scored 1-1 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Haroldo do Valle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tiago Machado struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Haroldo do Valle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EDI MZB. Alan Soares hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Tarcisio Gerber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorginho Vargas in the 59th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the game, Jorginho Vargas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tarcisio Gerber. Jorginho Vargas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Jorginho Vargas might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tarcisio Gerber. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jorginho Vargas ran back to his position shaking his head. ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s Christian Mendonça was substituted for Jorginho Vargas. Haroldo do Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evandro Maia, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Tarcisio Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Mendonça in the 74th minute of play. The supporters of EDI MZB booed when ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matheus de Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claudinho Taffarel was shown his second yellow card after 83 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Claudinho Taffarel hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s zone, Tiago Machado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haroldo do Valle came out of the goal and Tiago Machado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to EDI MZB getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Rubinho Costa hit a great ball. Tarcisio Gerber made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Rodolfo Faria sent off a good shot on target. In the 88th match minute, EDI MZB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Didi Mesquita to maneuver through the defense. When Rodolfo Faria came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodolfo Faria couldn't finish the play. In the 90th minute, Didi Mesquita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
