João Paulo Urbano came out of the goal and Hélder Simão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Hélder Simão made the kick off in the second half. Cauan Gonçalves kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After 58 played minutes S.C. Reis United got a freekick which was hit by Amadeu Negri. Ogro F.C.'s Luisinho dos Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of S.C. Reis United booed when Ogro F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hélder Simão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elano Reis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Chicão Barbosa having to make a save. Chicão Barbosa made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Henrique Trigo sent off a good shot on target. Evandro Passos hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Henrique Trigo's late challenge caught a Ogro F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henrique Trigo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ogro F.C.'s goalkeeper Chicão Barbosa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ogro F.C.'s Chicão Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeu Negri in the 80th minute of play. After 82 minutes Ogro F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luisinho Trancoso who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to Ogro F.C. getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Hélder Simão hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the S.C. Reis United players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ogro F.C..
