An unexpectedly hard shot by Lamine Xande in the 2nd minute of play forced Gracie Barra's goalkeeper Leopoldo Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 3 played minutes Gracie Barra got a freekick which was hit by Edmílson Bastos. After a rather tough play, Gracie Barra's Hélio Reis got a free kick in the 4th minute. Leopoldo Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lamine Xande, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. After a rather tough play, Gracie Barra's Gustavo Xavier got a free kick in the 6th minute. After recieving a nice pass, New Joinville - FSCMZ's Xande Musiala tried to score from far away in the 6th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Leopoldo Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lamine Xande in the 8th minute of play. Gracie Barra's Leopoldo Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robinho de Souza in the 10th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Ronaldo Viana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leopoldo Queirós. Gracie Barra's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ronaldo Viana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 14th minute, Gracie Barra's Edmílson Bastos seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Edmílson Bastos the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Gracie Barra protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Edmílson Bastos had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of New Joinville - FSCMZ booed when Gracie Barra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmílson Bastos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leopoldo Queirós didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sidney de Queirós went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Igor Pirani kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Emerson Chaves. That made the score 1-2 in the 19 minute of play. Gracie Barra's Leopoldo Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Viana in the 22nd minute of play. In the 25th minute Robinho de Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, New Joinville - FSCMZ's Marquinhos Jacinto got a free kick in the 26th minute. Fabinho Vinhas kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 31st minute New Joinville - FSCMZ were awarded a corner. Xande Musiala went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to New Joinville - FSCMZ's Sidney de Queirós getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 37th minute Ronaldo Viana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orlando do Valle's late challenge caught a New Joinville - FSCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Orlando do Valle helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th minute, Orlando do Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Gracie Barra's Fabinho Vinhas got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 46th minute of the match Xande Musiala sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leopoldo Queirós skillfully saved the ball. In the 47th minute, Geovânio Viana left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The New Joinville - FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. The Gracie Barra players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. New Joinville - FSCMZ were winning 1-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lamine Xande made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Emílio Martins ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leopoldo Queirós was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Leopoldo Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovânio Viana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lamine Xande hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After 64 played minutes New Joinville - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Lamine Xande. In the 68th minute, Hélio Reis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 68 minutes into the match, Gracie Barra's goal looked a bit too open when Xande Musiala came free, but Leopoldo Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 70 minutes of play, New Joinville - FSCMZ's Lamine Xande made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leopoldo Queirós was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leopoldo Queirós made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ronaldo Viana in the 73rd minute. Gracie Barra's Leopoldo Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xande Musiala in the 74th minute of play. Leopoldo Queirós made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lamine Xande in the 77th minute. Xande Musiala had several of the Gracie Barra's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 77 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-8 score and a disappointed Leopoldo Queirós as he didn't even see the shot coming. Leopoldo Queirós made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Lamine Xande sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Leopoldo Queirós successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ronaldo Viana took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leopoldo Queirós. Leopoldo Queirós dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-9. Gracie Barra's Leopoldo Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Viana in the 88th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Xandinho Thuram hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chicão Donatello was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 93rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 97th minute, New Joinville - FSCMZ's Lamine Xande dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-10. The Gracie Barra fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. New Joinville - FSCMZ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
