In the 24th minute Pedro Luís Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Quintal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nestor Quintal came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s Dorival Viana. But to his dismay, Dorival Viana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Pedro Luís Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Nestor Quintal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Luís Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Juan Velloso fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s protests and gave Juan Velloso a yellow card for diving instead. Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
