When Dé Paiva fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mestre GG's protests and gave Dé Paiva a yellow card for diving instead. Wilian Fonseca who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of Cristiano Albuquerque when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dé Paiva in the 7th minute of play forced Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ's goalkeeper Cristiano Albuquerque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Mestre GG's Cristiano Albuquerque threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dé Paiva, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Mestre GG's Raúl de Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amauri Barbosa in the 15th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ's zone, Wilian Fonseca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristiano Albuquerque came out of the goal and Wilian Fonseca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ's Ademar Abraão got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristiano Albuquerque showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dé Paiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute Ademar Abraão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raúl de Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ's Cristiano Albuquerque played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dé Paiva in the 34th minute of play. Gerson Ramos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Mestre GG booed when Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fred Zonta didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 40 minutes, Ademar Abraão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ and the Mestre GG players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Ademar Abraão hit a great ball. Cristiano Albuquerque made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dé Paiva in the 41st minute of play. Cristiano Albuquerque showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerson Ramos in the 42nd minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amauri Barbosa made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ's goal looked a bit too open when Dé Paiva came free, but Cristiano Albuquerque reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ's Cristiano Albuquerque played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dé Paiva in the 62nd minute of play. After 65 minutes, Célio Munhoz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mestre GG and the Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ's Cristiano Albuquerque played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dé Paiva in the 68th minute of play. Cristiano Albuquerque showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dé Paiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. When Mestre GG's Wilian Fonseca in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerson Ramos in the 85th minute of play forced Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ's goalkeeper Cristiano Albuquerque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilian Fonseca struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Cristiano Albuquerque didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mestre GG. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
