A collision led to JFSP getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. César Sampaio hit a great ball. Pedro Paulo Peixoto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dalmo Sergipano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Dudu Bueno kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute. Though ot was a great shot JFSP's keeper Thibault Mamardashvili was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. FALCÕES VERDES's Dalmo Sergipano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Luís Ceresso in the 27th minute of play. Laerte Fernandes kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Dudu Bueno received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Thibault Mamardashvili came out and tried to block the shot, but Dudu Bueno slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sílvio Luís Ceresso in the 35th minute of play forced FALCÕES VERDES's goalkeeper Dalmo Sergipano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Sílvio Luís Ceresso notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of FALCÕES VERDES's Dalmo Sergipano. Dalmo Sergipano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 40thth minute of the game Sílvio Luís Ceresso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FALCÕES VERDES's Dalmo Sergipano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 45 minutes, Isaltino Castro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FALCÕES VERDES and the JFSP players grew even worse after the yellow card.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sílvio Luís Ceresso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aníbal Pirani's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dalmo Sergipano firmly grabbed it by the left post. Dalmo Sergipano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Luís Ceresso in the 52nd minute of the match. If Sílvio Luís Ceresso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Laerte Fernandes during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FALCÕES VERDES booed when JFSP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laerte Fernandes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sílvio Luís Ceresso got free with Dalmo Sergipano in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 76th minute, Ismael Velloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 77 minutes into the game, Júlio Fonseca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Thibault Mamardashvili was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 85th minute, Pedro Paulo Peixoto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The JFSP fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Zé Paulo Saldanha made in the 88th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FALCÕES VERDES's Benjamin Falcão. Dalmo Sergipano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Luís Ceresso in the 89th minute of play. Dudu Bueno charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dudu Bueno the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FALCÕES VERDES getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Dudu Bueno hit a great ball. FALCÕES VERDES's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Sílvio Luís Ceresso scored to the left of an out of position Dalmo Sergipano, making the score, 2-4. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched JFSP eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
