After a defensive mix-up in Scarlet Speedster's zone, Douglas Gustavo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Umberto de Salles came out of the goal and Douglas Gustavo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 15 minutes, Leonardo Pombal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Scarlet Speedster's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonardo Pombal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Scarlet Speedster's Umberto de Salles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Mazer in the 17th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Douglas Gustavo in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Umberto de Salles saved Scarlet Speedster from getting behind. Arí Sarmento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Bueno, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Arí Sarmento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Bueno in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Kauan Valle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luizão Marquez during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Pragmáticos 1903 getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Luizão Marquez hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gustavo Mazer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Scarlet Speedster's goalkeeper Umberto de Salles, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pragmáticos 1903 made a substitution. Tadeu do Nascimento replaced Gustavo Abud. Cafu Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Cafu Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Umberto de Salles made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Douglas Gustavo sent off a good shot on target. A sloppy throw-in by Clóvis Rocha in the 86th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Pragmáticos 1903's Gustavo Berger. If Narciso Bueno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Narciso Bueno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
