Severino Marquez took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cafu Linares. Cafu Linares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 14 minutes into the match, OTTO FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Marquez came free, but Cafu Linares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, Fernando Pirani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MUSHIBA FC's Cacá Ramalho was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cafu Linares in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 23rd minute Severino Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cafu Linares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cafu Linares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Valdir Magalhães got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the OTTO FC - FSCMZ defense, Severino Marquez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cafu Linares. The OTTO FC - FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cafu Linares should have stopped the shot. 34 minutes into the game, Severino Marquez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Cafu Linares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 44th minute, Severino Marquez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

After 69 minutes, Michel Ramos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MUSHIBA FC and the OTTO FC - FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gil Meira in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cafu Linares, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Edgard Vasconcelos got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Didi Meira hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. When Severino Marquez came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the MUSHIBA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severino Marquez couldn't finish the play. The OTTO FC - FSCMZ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. MUSHIBA FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
