Scarlet Speedster's Leonardo Pombal got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 6 minutes, Cafu Toledo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Scarlet Speedster's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cafu Toledo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 7th match minute, Scarlet Speedster was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allan Souto to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes into the game, Valdir Magalhães cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Umberto de Salles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Umberto de Salles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cauã Koehler, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. When Kauan Valle fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Scarlet Speedster's protests and gave Kauan Valle a yellow card for diving instead. Kauan Valle hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Umberto de Salles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Pirani in the 21st minute of the match. Leonardo Pombal charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonardo Pombal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 25 played minutes Scarlet Speedster got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Pombal. OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Carlos Fernando Damião pulled a muscle in his back after 29 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 29 minutes, Narciso Bueno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Scarlet Speedster and the OTTO FC - FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Narciso Bueno kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Umberto de Salles came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Edgard Vasconcelos. But to his dismay, Edgard Vasconcelos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 39th minute, Cássio Peixoto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cafu Linares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Pombal in the 41st minute of the match.

The supporters of OTTO FC - FSCMZ booed when Scarlet Speedster was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Pombal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd minute Edgard Vasconcelos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Umberto de Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cafu Linares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Narciso Bueno's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute Leonardo Pombal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cafu Linares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Scarlet Speedster's Umberto de Salles got control of the ball when Fernando Pirani tried to sneak it across the goal line.
