After a rather tough play, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Ivo Mello got a free kick in the 5th minute. Gianluigi Donnarumma came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by AS Pikachuzim's Victor da Fonseca. But to his dismay, Victor da Fonseca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Claudinho Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joélson Paraibano in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goal looked a bit too open when Dadá Torres came free, but Gianluigi Donnarumma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute of the match AS Pikachuzim got a corner. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gildo da Fonseca ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Cristian Bittencourt got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gianluigi Donnarumma quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Luizão Fontes hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Gianluigi Donnarumma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Bittencourt in the 19th minute of play. After a rather tough play, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Ladislao Mazurkiewicz got a free kick in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislao Mazurkiewicz in the 29th minute of play forced AS Pikachuzim's goalkeeper Claudinho Moura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AS Pikachuzim's Claudinho Moura proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save AS Pikachuzim from getting a goal against them. A collision led to AS Pikachuzim getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Victor da Fonseca hit a great ball. After 38 minutes of play, AS Pikachuzim's Cristian Bittencourt made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gianluigi Donnarumma was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Joélson Paraibano in the 46th minute of play forced AS Pikachuzim's goalkeeper Claudinho Moura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The S.E.R. Caxias do Sul players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. AS Pikachuzim were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joélson Paraibano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Bittencourt came free, but Gianluigi Donnarumma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leopoldo Sanches fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinho Moura having to interfere. In the 65th minute of the match, Cristian Bittencourt tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gianluigi Donnarumma saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Claudinho Moura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joélson Paraibano in the 66th minute of the match. After 75 played minutes AS Pikachuzim got a freekick which was hit by Gildo da Fonseca. Gianluigi Donnarumma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dadá Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gianluigi Donnarumma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Bittencourt in the 79th minute of play. A hard shot 84 in the game by Dadá Torres from a close distance when the talented Gianluigi Donnarumma managed to make a qualified save. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's players were relieved. 85 minutes into the match, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dadá Torres. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Gianluigi Donnarumma successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gianluigi Donnarumma was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristian Bittencourt showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 93 minute of play. AS Pikachuzim's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
