Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Célio Mangueira started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Curiphila Eagles's Tadeu do Vale got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After 7th play minutes Célio Mangueira shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Murilo Paiva and just under the crossbar into goal. Naldo Costa scored 1-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wellington Montenegro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nelson Eger hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Murilo Paiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Célio Mangueira in the 21st minute of the match. A collision led to Curiphila Eagles getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Patrick Linares hit a great ball. Fausto Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Murilo Paiva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Célio Mangueira in the 28th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Joinville Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Kiko Mattos came free, but Wellington Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Flavinho Fantini during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Flavinho Fantini hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the match, Patrick Linares notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Joinville Esporte Clube's Wellington Montenegro. Wellington Montenegro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 36th minute Tadeu do Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wellington Montenegro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot by Flavinho Fantini from long distance, 38 minutes into the match, got Murilo Paiva's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Patrick Linares kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Deivid Vaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Murilo Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Naldo Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. A collision led to Joinville Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Hélio Furtado hit a great ball.

In the 53rd minute, Hélio Furtado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Joinville Esporte Clube's zone, Naldo Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wellington Montenegro came out of the goal and Naldo Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Murilo Paiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Célio Mangueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute Célio Mangueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murilo Paiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fausto Aguiar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Curiphila Eagles's zone, Célio Mangueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Murilo Paiva came out of the goal and Célio Mangueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Horácio Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. When Célio Mangueira came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Joinville Esporte Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Célio Mangueira couldn't finish the play. 89 minutes into the match, Curiphila Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when Célio Mangueira came free, but Murilo Paiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Célio Mangueira in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Murilo Paiva saved Curiphila Eagles from getting behind. Murilo Paiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Célio Mangueira in the 93rd minute of play.
