Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Tiago Ortiz made the kick off and thus started the match. After a defensive mix-up in Bandeca FC's zone, Paulo Renato Souza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kléberson Soeiro came out of the goal and Paulo Renato Souza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 6th minute Jailson de Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kléberson Soeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute of the match Nova Iguaçu MZFC got a corner. Bandeca FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dudu Queiroz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Dudu Queiroz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kléberson Soeiro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Kléberson Soeiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulo Renato Souza went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 15th match minute, Nova Iguaçu MZFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dudu Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. Mauro de Salles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiago Ortiz in the 18th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Jailson de Carvalho sped through Bandeca FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kléberson Soeiro. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilson Vidal got free with Kléberson Soeiro in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Anselmo Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 32nd play minutes Jailson de Carvalho shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Kléberson Soeiro and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of Nova Iguaçu MZFC booed when Bandeca FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arlindo de Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kléberson Soeiro was a little too slow when Jailson de Carvalho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 4-0. Wilson Vidal took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kléberson Soeiro. Kléberson Soeiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jailson de Carvalho to strike the kick off in the second half. Kléberson Soeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Renato Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Arlindo de Carvalho hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Kléberson Soeiro came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Jailson de Carvalho. But to his dismay, Jailson de Carvalho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Nova Iguaçu MZFC made a substitution. Dalmo Rocha replaced Telmo Barbosa. Bandeca FC made a substitution. Rui Gaspar replaced Tiago Gabriel Batista. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Cesinha Cruz was substituted for Vladimir Braga. Kléberson Soeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jailson de Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute Paulo Renato Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kléberson Soeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bandeca FC's Kléberson Soeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilson Vidal in the 63rd minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Wilson Vidal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kléberson Soeiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. In the 71st minute, Tiago Ortiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Prestes hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the match, Cesinha Cruz notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Bandeca FC's Kléberson Soeiro. Kléberson Soeiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 82nd minute, Zé Carlos Cordeiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kléberson Soeiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. Kléberson Soeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilson Vidal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kléberson Soeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Renato Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 10-0 became the score in the 89th minute when Wilson Vidal elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Renato Souza in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kléberson Soeiro saved Bandeca FC from getting behind. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Nova Iguaçu MZFC fully deserved thier win.
