The Cosa nostra Lyon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clem Fath should have stopped the shot. Ferdi Bomba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clem Fath read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tales Arruda to make the kick off. lןןl MONTE CHINGOLO fc's Gervasio Bieito quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Thierry Platon, made in the 52nd minute of the game. Ferdi Bomba might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Clem Fath. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The corner led Cosa nostra Lyon's Florian Lardenois to fire away a dangerous shot which Morales Toralino despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ferdi Bomba charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ferdi Bomba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. lןןl MONTE CHINGOLO fc's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
