Golden Lions FC's Joschi Hook managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hugo Eden in the 11 minute of the game. Marcus Ekrot made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Loco Durazno sent off a good shot on target. Marcus Ekrot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mats Nyström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A throw-in in the 19th minute of the game was made by Hugo Eden with Martin Mutumba as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Mutumba in the 20th minute of play forced Golden Lions FC's goalkeeper Anders Lundqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Mutumba in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anders Lundqvist saved Golden Lions FC from getting behind. Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loco Durazno in the 24th minute of play. If Loco Durazno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Loco Durazno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Golden Lions FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Loco Durazno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Golden Lions FC booed when Vykans Vikingar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Eden didn't get a good kick on the ball. Loco Durazno's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marcus Ekrot firmly grabbed it by the left post. 43 minutes into the game, Hílton Souza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Anders Lundqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marcus Ekrot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Loco Durazno in the 47th minute. Abdi Revis replaced Martin Mutumba. Anders Lundqvist had great luck who in the 88thth minute grab hold of the ball when Leonardo Trancoso from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Thanks to some nice moves Abdi Revis could shoot a difficult shot in the 95th minute, which Anders Lundqvist however easily saved by the left post. For all the effort they put into the match, the Vykans Vikingar players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Golden Lions FC.
