The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute Dag Laskowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Naci Talha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Andırın SK's Hayati Özaltan got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Andırın SK's goal looked a bit too open when Dag Laskowski came free, but Naci Talha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Naci Talha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dag Laskowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Naci Talha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dag Laskowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Hamdi Çolak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dariusz Soszka having to interfere. In the 39th match minute, Andırın SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İsmail Akyol to maneuver through the defense. After 39 played minutes, Yelonki's Przemyslaw Majerowicz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Naci Talha came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Yelonki reached it. Dariusz Soszka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erdinç Talay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dag Laskowski was the one to do the kick off. Naci Talha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dag Laskowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After a rather tough play, Yelonki's Przemyslaw Majerowicz got a free kick in the 67th minute. Yelonki made a substitution. Marcin Murdza replaced Tobiasz Tamulewicz. The supporters of Andırın SK booed when Yelonki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Przemyslaw Majerowicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Yelonki's goal looked a bit too open when Hamdi Çolak came free, but Dariusz Soszka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Naci Talha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yelonki. After having played for 87 minutes, Dag Laskowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yelonki's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dag Laskowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Andırın SK getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Yusuf Ülgen hit a great ball.
