Playa Malvín's Zé Roberto Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hildeberto Cortez in the 9th minute of play. Stamen Tekeliev took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodrigo Lima. Rodrigo Lima dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Rodrigo Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stamen Tekeliev in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiger Argoud in the 40th minute of play forced Playa Malvín's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Playa Malvín getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Stamen Tekeliev hit a great ball. Zé Roberto Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthias Tham in the 44th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stamen Tekeliev in the 46th minute of play forced Machados FC V2's goalkeeper Rodrigo Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stamen Tekeliev made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Machados FC V2's goal looked a bit too open when Stamen Tekeliev came free, but Rodrigo Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodrigo Lima stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stamen Tekeliev's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Tiger Argoud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Machados FC V2's Santos Cebrian got a free kick in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Cebrian in the 60th minute of play forced Playa Malvín's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodrigo Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stamen Tekeliev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zé Roberto Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthias Tham in the 62nd minute of play. Tiger Argoud could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Zé Roberto Teixeira made a huge save. Alvise Catapano hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Playa Malvín's Josu Onez was substituted for Jabier Igual. Playa Malvín's Quinto Ampudia was substituted for Stamen Tekeliev. Quinto Ampudia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 74th minute Quinto Ampudia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zé Roberto Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascoal Espírito Santo, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 83 minutes into the match, Playa Malvín's Quinto Ampudia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodrigo Lima narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 93 minutes of play, Playa Malvín's Quinto Ampudia made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodrigo Lima was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Playa Malvín fans cheered their team off the field, for while Machados FC V2 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
