With his leg Omar Laffont managed to avoid a goal in the 6thth minute, when Aguilas FC's Evaristo Rocio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Omar Laffont made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evaristo Rocio in the 7th minute. 9 minutes into the game, William Dugarry was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coutes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aguilas FC the free kick. The supporters of Aguilas FC booed when Coutes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. William Dugarry didn't get a good kick on the ball. Americo Bastian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Omar Laffont tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot by Elvio Bento from long distance, 16 minutes into the match, got Omar Laffont's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Omar Laffont successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 19 minutes into the match, Coutes's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Gaitan came free, but Omar Laffont reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute of the match Aguilas FC got a corner. Coutes's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Evaristo Rocio ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Aguilas FC's Evaristo Rocio to fire away a dangerous shot which Omar Laffont despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Enzo Palos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gameiro Dubarry, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. A collision led to Coutes getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Pascal Marcos hit a great ball. Thierry Marconnet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd minute, Luciano Gaitan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Dugarry in the 44th minute of play forced Aguilas FC's goalkeeper Enzo Palos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute Thierry Marconnet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enzo Palos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Aguilas FC's Cirilo Naike got a free kick in the 47th minute. Enzo Palos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gameiro Dubarry in the 48th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
53 minutes into the game, Gameiro Dubarry recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Enzo Palos. Gameiro Dubarry showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Coutes's William Dugarry slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Enzo Palos. That made the score 0-2 after 55 minutes of play. Luciano Gaitan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luciano Gaitan struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Omar Laffont didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aguilas FC. Luc Pardo hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the match, Coutes's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Gaitan came free, but Omar Laffont reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Omar Laffont showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Gaitan, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 69th minute, Thierry Marconnet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pierrick Deck charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pierrick Deck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 77th minute, Luciano Gaitan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aguilas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 80th minute, Thierry Marconnet ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enzo Palos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Enzo Palos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thierry Marconnet went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Enzo Palos made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when William Dugarry sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle sounded Coutes left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Aguilas FC.
