In the 15thth minute of the game Luisão Loyola who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pennington's Stevie Grimm was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Otávio Teless short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Stevie Grimm to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Faustino Sumner's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Geovânio Arce read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Andrézinho Cerezo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Stevie Grimm when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

The wind increased when Faustino Sumner made the kick off in the second half. 5-1 became the score in the 51st minute when Otávio Teles elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The supporters of Evol FC booed when Pennington was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sterling Vincent didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute, Luisão Loyola made a precise shot to the right of Stevie Grimm. Pennington's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. Geovânio Arce made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Milton Connolly sent off a good shot on target. In the 59th minute, Keith Dewitt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luisão Loyola in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stevie Grimm prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Stevie Grimm didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Otávio Teles went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Pennington defense, Otávio Teles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stevie Grimm. The Pennington fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stevie Grimm should have stopped the shot. Garry Lynn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovânio Arce having to interfere. A collision led to Pennington getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Lamar Gleason hit a great ball. If Otávio Teles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otávio Teles in the 87th minute of play forced Pennington's goalkeeper Stevie Grimm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lamar Gleason charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lamar Gleason the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Pennington's Lamar Gleason got a free kick in the 88th minute. When Evol FC's Durvalino Andrade in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pennington's goalie prevented a goal. Evol FC's Geovânio Arce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustino Sumner in the 94th minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Evol FC's goal looked a bit too open when Faustino Sumner came free, but Geovânio Arce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
