Cyrille Grove took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gameiro Dubarry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 48 minutes into the match, Coutes's Mehdi Arzur sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cyrille Grove narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rosendo King was the one to do the kick off. Cyrille Grove showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gameiro Dubarry in the 54th minute of the match. In the 57th match minute, Dover was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rosendo King to maneuver through the defense. Gameiro Dubarry struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Cyrille Grove didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coutes.
