With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wellington de Almeida prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mayhem Sharks's Wellington de Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zafer Yavuzhan in the 21st minute of play. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind New Miran FC's goalkeeper Gino Tonić, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gino Tonić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jailson Rossi, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After 33 minutes, Ian de Castro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mayhem Sharks and the New Miran FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd match minute, Mayhem Sharks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ian de Castro to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the match, Zafer Yavuzhan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wellington de Almeida. Mayhem Sharks's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zafer Yavuzhan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 40 minutes into the match, Mayhem Sharks's goal looked a bit too open when Johan Neeskens came free, but Wellington de Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wiliam Ferraz made in the 42nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Johan Neeskens. Wellington de Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charlie Vandamme in the 43rd minute of play. Wellington de Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charlie Vandamme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Narciso Dias in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gino Tonić saved New Miran FC from getting behind.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Narciso Dias was the one to do the kick off. Wellington de Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Turner in the 62nd minute of play. Wiliam Ferraz made in the 64th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Johan Neeskens however managed to control. Gino Tonić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Dias in the 66th minute of play. Mayhem Sharks's Wellington de Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Turner in the 70th minute of play. Wellington de Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Turner, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Arturo Turner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Arcadio Valdés hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Mayhem Sharks's zone, Johan Neeskens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wellington de Almeida came out of the goal and Johan Neeskens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 94 minutes of play, New Miran FC's Charlie Vandamme made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wellington de Almeida was left in no man's land by his defense there! New Miran FC played a much better game than Mayhem Sharks and deserved their victory. The Mayhem Sharks players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
