Casimiro Jatsu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fonso Zotillo having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casimiro Jatsu in the 15th minute of play forced XV de Piracicaba's goalkeeper Fonso Zotillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casimiro Jatsu might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fonso Zotillo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Casimiro Jatsu ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 17th minute Casimiro Jatsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fonso Zotillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Casimiro Jatsu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fonso Zotillo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fábio Montoia in the 26th minute of play forced Airborne FC's goalkeeper Pedro Paulo Barreto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casimiro Jatsu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fonso Zotillo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Fábio Montoia made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Airborne FC's Marcos Linares got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute Severino Capixaba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Paulo Barreto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fonso Zotillo was a little too slow when Casimiro Jatsu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 1-2. Casimiro Jatsu in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fonso Zotillo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Airborne FC's Casimiro Jatsu in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 73rd minute of the match Airborne FC got a corner. XV de Piracicaba's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Qin Xiang Chuan ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of XV de Piracicaba's goalie and right to Äli Abdulrähmanov. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. XV de Piracicaba's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Fonso Zotillo made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Äli Abdulrähmanov sent off a good shot on target. Murillo Trigo charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Murillo Trigo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Murillo Trigo kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Fonso Zotillo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Casimiro Jatsu went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. In the 84th match minute, XV de Piracicaba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murillo Trigo to maneuver through the defense. Fonso Zotillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horia Lupu in the 89th minute of play. Fonso Zotillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casimiro Jatsu in the 96th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Airborne FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
