With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fonso Zotillo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Charlie Vandamme's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 8thth minute, Fonso Zotillo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When New Miran FC's Charlie Vandamme in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In a very dangerous position, a player in XV de Piracicaba fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! XV de Piracicaba:s Fonso Zotillo showed great skill when he stopped Wiliam Ferraz:s penalty. Aquiles Paro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fábio Montoia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. XV de Piracicaba's Fonso Zotillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save XV de Piracicaba from getting a goal against them. Charlie Vandamme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Fonso Zotillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, New Miran FC's Charlie Vandamme sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fonso Zotillo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 40th minute, Lauro Souto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. XV de Piracicaba's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Charlie Vandamme 41 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. After 43 played minutes XV de Piracicaba got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Jurdan. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Laerte Marquez in the 77th minute of play forced XV de Piracicaba's goalkeeper Fonso Zotillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Laerte Marquez put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fonso Zotillo. After 91 minutes of play, New Miran FC's Laerte Marquez made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fonso Zotillo was left in no man's land by his defense there! New Miran FC's Álvaro Duarte quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Yuri Tasso, made in the 94th minute of the game. Fonso Zotillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Turner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. New Miran FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
