Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Alfredo Martins started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. INTER FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emerson Cruz in the 6th minute. A nice corner shot did that Emerson Cruz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dida Taffarel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Leon Kosmatka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Paraibano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelo Valverde charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcelo Valverde the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 14 minutes into the match, INTER FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Paraibano came free, but Leon Kosmatka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marquês de Herval's Nestor Paraibano got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 19th minute German Cano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Kosmatka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nestor Paraibano in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emerson Cruz made a kick off. Leon Kosmatka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Martins in the 51st minute of the match. 53 minutes into the match, INTER FC's goalkeeper Leon Kosmatka had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by German Cano. Rafael Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. A hard shot by Moussa Kabre from long distance, 56 minutes into the match, got Leon Kosmatka's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Alfredo Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marquês de Herval played a much better game than INTER FC and deserved their victory. The INTER FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
