After taking down the ball on INTER FC's corner Emerson Cruz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alysson Rezende quite easily take care of the ball. In the 5th minute of the match INTER FC got a corner. Ogro F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emerson Cruz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Igor Cavalera received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leon Kosmatka came out and tried to block the shot, but Igor Cavalera slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marco Seco in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alysson Rezende saved Ogro F.C. from getting behind. Leon Kosmatka stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Igor Cavalera's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. After having played for 16 minutes, Igor Cavalera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ogro F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Cavalera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Igor Cavalera took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Leon Kosmatka to make any attempt to save it. In the 22nd minute of the match Ogro F.C. got a corner. INTER FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jerônimo Vergílio ran over to the corner to take the kick. Leon Kosmatka made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Igor Cavalera sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Igor Cavalera in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leon Kosmatka saved INTER FC from getting behind. With a little luck, INTER FC's Leon Kosmatka got control of the ball when Igor Cavalera tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Igor Cavalera's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leon Kosmatka was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Ogro F.C.'s Alysson Rezende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emerson Cruz in the 37th minute of play. Igor Cavalera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Leon Kosmatka made a huge save. Bruno Alves kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute Igor Cavalera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Kosmatka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emerson Cruz made a kick off. When Dan Zimmermann came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Ogro F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dan Zimmermann couldn't finish the play. Hortêncio Linhares replaced Marco Seco. INTER FC's Mandi Oca was substituted for Emerson Cruz. After 81 played minutes INTER FC got a freekick which was hit by Léo Trigo. After 82 played minutes, Ogro F.C.'s Jerônimo Vergílio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leon Kosmatka came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ogro F.C. reached it. 84 minutes into the match, Ogro F.C.'s Marco Minnemann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leon Kosmatka narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 87 minutes into the game, Mandi Oca recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alysson Rezende. Mandi Oca showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Marco Minnemann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ogro F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Marco Minnemann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leon Kosmatka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leon Kosmatka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Minnemann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bruno Alves hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ogro F.C. fully deserved thier win.
