Zhang Chen was slow to take the kick. During this time Capivara FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 21st minute of the match Capivara FC got a corner. Jenipapo SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zhang Chen ran over to the corner to take the kick. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vinícius Junior to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Doriva Tavares in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Seaman saved Jenipapo SC from getting behind. David Seaman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doriva Tavares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Seaman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doriva Tavares, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute.
