With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dida Taffarel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marquês de Herval's Dida Taffarel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Marquês de Herval from getting a goal against them. Jenipapo SC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Jenipapo SC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Marquês de Herval to leave the ground with a draw.
